Makes a great replacement for the Everstar Portable Air Conditioner, model MPN1-11CR-BB4. Ease of installation. Slim profile so the window doesn't need to be opened often. Ideal for very high windows.

Installation was much easier than I expected. I had it on my window in less than 5 minutes. The reason it didn't get five stars from me is because of three things: 1) the little plastic knobs that hold the position you need for your window felt a little flimsy, 2) the plastic isn't that strong /thick as I liked (it was a lot thinner than the original window unit that came with my air conditioner which cracked) and 3) the price was a little high for what you get.

Technically it works. One problem is that it's not high enough so that the air conditioner exhaust fumes can't get through the hole as they hit the window sill. Also, sliding one part into the other creates a gap that needs to be filled. It's also pretty squishy. The included tape is useless if the glue is bad. That being said, if you go to the hardware store and buy some heavier tape to seal everything, use duct tape or something like that to attach the exhaust pipe to it, it might work just…

Good enough for windows, probably too weak when fully extended for a door. But it worked fine for my sliding window. For those who say it's too small, this is normal for a 13mm/5" tube. Some AC units are 5.9 inches tall. Just make sure which ones you need. The lack of instructions is frustrating, but that's understandable. Strangely there is no outlet and no outlet adapter as advertised. - this is all a whole, which on the one hand is wound on a hose, and on the other hand snaps into the window

fitting instructions are terrible and wrong size. First off, the round adapter is 1/4 inch smaller than my hose. WTF? So this thing is either the wrong size or it's a ridiculous industry that doesn't have standard sizes. If the latter is the case, this product should offer multiple adapter sizes so you can choose the right one. Before ordering, measure the hose width (not included) and the window height to make sure it is the correct kit. To you. The one that came with my original air conditioner was too high for my window and just using two panels allowed a lot of heat back into the room. I thought the problem was with my air conditioner, but the problem was with the window kit. This kit came with a weather shield to keep out the heat.
