Very nice set and a great talking point once complete. It was easy to assemble. The parts are nicely arranged and can be easily removed from the backing plates. You should have some basic modeling tools at hand, but really everything you need is included. Use the included sandpaper to sand the connection points (very small areas where parts attach to the backing plate). These dots are small, but they still need to be sanded down to ease movement. The instructions are well written, with very good graphic pictures showing each step clearly. Some of the steps can be a bit confusing so look closely at the assembly photos for clues on correct alignment etc. I mounted the big wheel backwards. Something seemed wrong, but I kept moving and realized my mistake just a few steps down the street. So, yes, I had to go through the book in reverse order and disassemble it until I got to the right step to find my mistake. So if something is wrong, just study the steps and pictures carefully. If you need to take it apart to fix a bug, you're basically loosening the connections a bit. But overall I had a lot of fun. Take your time. The parts fit together well. So be gentle. You don't want to break any parts. It will go well together and you can surprise your family and friends.
