Finding a turtle's staple diet can be a real challenge. Some experts advise using hard love and only feeding pellets. In this case, the turtle will eventually eat them. Others suggest soaking turtle pellets in tuna water to make them smell better. After trying many brands (Reptomin, Nutrafin, Jurassic Diet) I finally came across Omega One Turtle Granules. My Midland Painted Turtle loved them immediately.
