Starrett has been around for many years and has always been associated with superior quality. I bought this die set to replace the set I bought from Horror Freight. There was an error. They flexed almost immediately and were just useless on that side. What can you expect from a $7 punch set? I don't know what I was thinking. Fast forward to the current one - problem solved. These pens hold up to whatever I throw at them and look straight like an arrow. They cost a little over $7, but you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to tools and pretty much everything else.
