Works great but they need a low latency version to zero. I was skeptical that the tape mic would work, but it definitely doesn't come off and looks nice. The piece is magnetic, so you can detach the microphone if you're just listening to music. However, when you have noise-isolating headphones, you sound like you have a bad cold because you can't hear yourself. Many gaming headsets today have something called a sidetone, which allows you to reproduce part of your voice entering the microphone in your headphones. This will help you determine if your microphone is working, how much background noise the microphone is picking up (if any), and hear yourself. Phones before cell phones had side effects, no side effects on cell phones. that's why today everyone is running and yelling into their phones, you can't tell if your voice is heard. Overall I am happy with this purchase and use it with Sennheiser 598CS headphones.
