This cover is nice to the touch and I like it in that respect but pet urine will penetrate it quickly. I purchased 2 of the large ones so I could cut pieces from one to put where the cats want to lay. but I have a 10 year old neutered male cat who does not like outside animals. He gets mad if he smells someone else's cat or dog on them when they sit on that sofa. He will wait around until no one is there and spray. He did this in the middle of the night and by morning the smell was on the sofa seat and back of the sofa. I had to shampoo the sofa. If it had been truly waterproof that would not have happened. Very disappointed in it's performance. Especially after buying 2 of them! This needs to improve. If it were truly waterproof, I'd have given 5 stars. I have no problems with it shifting around. I don't always tuck it in unless I know someone is coming.
