Note that when handling kitchen products, plastic packaging is somewhat porous. I was disappointed with how strongly this item smelled of hand sanitizer when I took each of the bowl groups out of the box. It's so heavy on the top and bottom cups (out of the box) that I don't like using them for fear they might go bad. I can only hope it shrinks now that I've opened them. I'm just expressing my concern and frustration because I'm very sensitive to the smell of hand sanitizer and other similar strong-smelling items. Please remember that while plastic is a barrier for most items, it can hold something like a disinfectant that can be passed on by someone handling the product. Many Thanks.
