I bought this broom to use in the hallway (with carpet) to pick up little notes left by my students. It's lightweight and very durable. You can leave the shovel to stand up for your own strikes. The comb at the end of the shovel is wonderful. I don't have to bend down or touch the broom if something gets stuck at the end. It folds up and you can store it in a very small space (so that it is not visible). I was a bit apprehensive about the build (I hate building anything). It was sooo easy. Instructions are easy to follow. I assembled it in less than five minutes. My students call this a "designer" broom.
