Review on Comfort and Style Combined: Teva Tirra Halcon Burnt Olive Women's Shoes by Eric Currie

Let me start by saying that I almost NEVER write reviews but because I have read almost EVERYTHING that has ever been written about these Tirra Tevas women and I try deciding if they would suit me, i really wanted to share my POSITIVE FEEDBACK on these sandals! I am about 30 years old but I have severe nerve damage in my left leg. My toe had to be amputated in 2007 so every summer since then I've been ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE trying to find sandals that I could walk in comfortably but still look cute! Over the years I've literally spent THOUSANDS of dollars on sandals claiming to be the "best in the line" but NONE of them came close to the COMFORT, SUPPORT and FEMININESS of the Tirra Teva sandal! 2 adjustable straps on the insole and a third on the top of the foot allow for a truly custom fit. When I read the reviews before buying, some said the sandals were too big and others said they were too narrow. Let me be clear by saying that my mum and I are the same shoe size but I have a very wide foot and my mum has a very narrow foot and these Tevas fit us both like a glove! All it took were a few quick strap adjustments! Others have also complained about the ankle strap "rubbing", but they obviously bought the wrong size because my left foot is so HYPERENSENSITIVE that the slightest irritation can send me to the roof, but these sandals are NOT, no matter how long I am wear them! In fact, this is the first pair of sandals I have with straps that don't hurt my feet at all! And a bad foot that provides lasting comfort and stability not only to my legs but also to my back. If you have any doubts about buying these Tevas like I am, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you take a leap of faith and at least try them! They are SO VERSATILE, they can be worn top or bottom, they run true to size (I usually wear a 9 1/2 wide or 10m and bought a size 10 which fits perfectly) and they look really cute! Teva has come a long way since the "earthy crunchy" men's sandals! It took me 6 years and wasted a lot of money to FINALLY find the PERFECT summer sandals. In my opinion they are worth every penny and more! Whether you're active or have foot problems, I guarantee that once you've worn these sandals, you'll never want to wear another pair!
