Great shot for 2018 Ford F-150 2.7L Ecoboost! If k&n had installed the filter sooner I would not have realized how much more power and sound a cold air intake would bring me, how happy I was after installing it! The turbos are much louder and the engine really does sound like a big V-6 or even a V-8! Also makes your exhaust louder with more airflow. I have an SCT BullyDog BDX programmer in my truck that adds insane performance. I didn't think adding more power would help, but it really did! It felt like it would easily add an extra 20 horsepower of torque, too. / 30 ft-lbs! I don't really notice better fuel economy, but I think it's down to my SCT programmer. But I didn't buy it to increase gas mileage, but for power and better sound. With both the programmer and the intake, I still get about 20mpg on the highway. Great shot by K&N, and to people who say it's cheaply made with plastic pipes, that's dumb. Plastic tubes are extremely durable and are designed to reduce heat from intake air temperature. With metal pipes, it heats up more and leads to a loss of power. It is specifically designed to utilize the factory bottom end of the air intake, allowing you to benefit from the cold air port on the factory air intake. It just sits and rolls perfectly into the factory box. Great $260 product that is one of the cheapest F150 intakes.
