This coat is very well made. My daughter really liked the color of the coat and the buttons. It looks like you could pass it off as a winter coat from the picture without reading the description, but it's not thick enough for winter. This is an amazing fall jacket for cool summer nights by the lake at camp or rainy days as it is actually an amazing 100% waterproof rain jacket. It's a bit on the big side, but the extra room to maneuver is actually perfect if you want to wear a sweatshirt underneath for extra warmth.
