Review on Harris S0FB01Type Solar Welding Flux by Will Kern

This flux is a great alternative to gas backflow even when gas backflow is a possibility. I had several 5 foot welds on 16 gauge stainless steel and used this flux instead of gas reflow. I really liked the results. Sometimes some flux leaks out into the weld pool, but that doesn't cause any real problems. It is very easy to mix and keeps well for several days in a well-sealed container. It doesn't take much to cover a lot. This material is of great importance. Alcohol evaporates quickly, but you can simply add more to the mix to thin it out. Thinner blended seams work better in my opinion because they flow better and actually have better coverage.
