It's great to have more than one project on hand. I like to play with different sizes without having to pay $20.00 for a needle to figure out what size is best for a particular project. If you expect top quality for this price, you will be disappointed. But really, if you expect top quality at this price then I'm sorry. I think it's definitely worth buying to have spares. One day while I was knitting at the doctor's office, a little girl was interested in what I was knitting. I showed her some stuff and then sent her needles and yarn home, she loved it. It's worth it!
