Just received the needles. Just knit a sample with bamboo and silk yarn. The needles are very sharp, the yarn will NOT break. These very sharp ends are useful when working in lace patterns with very fine yarn. I like to have 18 needle sets on hand whenever I feel like knitting. I live in a tropical country where knitting is not part of their culture. That saved me a lot of time. I paid less than $24 including shipping and duty, which is less than the cost of 3-4 pairs of needles at a Canadian store. with my order. I wish the manufacturer would use black ink to print the needle size on each needle instead of the tan ink they currently use. Black ink would make it easier to find and read the needle size.
