Review on Maximize Wheel Alignment Precision with Moog K100159 Caster/Camber Adjusting Kit by Tim Beardsley

Revainrating 3 out of 5

5 stars for screws, zero stars for nuts!

The nuts supplied are complete scrap. I went to my local hardware store to have a look. The bolts work great with all the other nuts, I chose to use the old stock nuts with the new bolts and cams. The nut's threads are not finished on the last two threads, you can check this by turning the nut the other way, it doesn't even thread onto the bolt. Don't try to thread the bolt through the nut as this will only shear off the threads of the bolt as others have said. Screws - 5 stars. My old upper arm had a stuck camshaft bolt (no lube!) which caused me to destroy the camshaft pulley. I received the wheel alignment the day after the installation and everything works great. I'm not sure if people say pucks are too soft. Cam bolts require 100 ft/lb to 120 ft/lb of torque or torque depending on vehicle. Initial lubrication method: 1. Hand-tighten first.2. Lubricate the bolts until grease begins to seep around the lever bushings. 3. Tighten the bolts to specification. 4. Lubricate one or two pump screws and wipe off excess grease.

Pros
  • Shock absorbers, struts and suspension
Cons
  • Brief instructions
