Review on 📻 2021 Mirkit Baofeng UV-5R MK4 8W Max Power Ham Radio Two Way Radio by Lance Levatte

I ordered this radio as an alternative to the BaoFeng BF-F8HP. However, based on the decent reviews, I gave it a try, although hardware-wise the radio works well as expected. However, I found that there is a problem when I try to program it with the latest Chirp software. I get an error saying radio memory is not compatible when trying to import certain channels like frs/gmrs channels from the default configurations available in Chirp. The seller (Mirkit) claims to use their channel list file to fix the problem, however the error still occurs when he uses his file. I have attached a screenshot. The only successful programming method was using the July 2017 version of Chirp, which was added to the channel listing. While this might work, I'd rather use the latest version of Chirp. Especially if you have more than one radio.
