I have used Hawk HPS brake pads on my cars for the last 10 years and I love them. These are good pads for everyday driving and also do a good job on the race track. I currently have them in my daily driver when I do the occasional trackday and they last quite a while. The brake dust is about the same as the OEM and Duralast pads that came on the car from the previous owner. I like that they feel so much better when driving around town and on the highway compared to the original pads that they don't need to be warmed up to work well. On the track they are fairly resistant to fading, but on bigger, higher speed trails entering hard braking zones, the brake pads can start to show signs of fading. I only had the fade a couple of times on track but I hit the brakes much later and it was summer with over 100 degree weather. Adjust the brake pressure and brake a little sooner and you'll be fine. I will continue to buy these and if my SUV needs brakes I will buy Hawk pads for them as well.
