Note that even Jaguar uses a stamped X-pipe on the F-Type. (google it) but stamped X-tubes aren't as perfect as what you cut and weld. I bought it for over $90 for a Magnaflow which does NOT look like a computer generated image and has poor flow characteristics compared to a real photo of this Jones Exhaust product. I sent Magnaflow back. This looks exactly like the picture and is not false advertising. Unlike Magnaflow, the die cuts on it almost fully converge with a minimal internal die seam and are almost fully abutted. Compared to others the shape profile is what I would expect from an X-Pipe. And it's the cheapest at Revain! Okay, it's not stainless steel, but who cares? Perhaps Jones should also be made in stainless steel and take more. See my photos. All stamped steel X-tubes have excess metal from insert tubes welded to the main body. The benefit of the Jones piece is that it's shorter and less obstructive to the flow than the one I returned to Magnaflow. They would also be easier to sand down with a grinder and a metal cutter and maybe sand down some with a cartridge roller. The centerline of the tubes is 4.25 inches.
