Overall I really like the Avantree brand. I have Audition Pro, Jogger Plus, Clipper Pro and now Cyclone. I bought a cyclone to use around the house - when I get ready in the morning, when I cook, etc. Car. Very easy to use, usually at close range. The quality of materials and design is excellent. It feels good in the hand, looks good and feels solid. The buttons offer a decent user interface. The battery life is decent. The volume could be more, but it is sufficient. The problems I'm having are with its bluetooth functionality. The range is meager. Of all my other Avantree products, I have the best range - this one tends to cut off at around 10 feet. It handles obstacles very poorly - I can clip it to the belt loop on one hip and slip the phone into my pocket on the other side and it starts to turn off. If they are on opposite sides of the room, walking between the Cyclone and my phone could cause it to turn off. A product designed for outdoor/sport use really should do better, especially when all other products of the brand and the competing products of other brands appear to work properly. It's also not good at handling multiple devices. Haven't tried the Jogger Plus or Clipper, but the Audition Pro allows and handles two simultaneous Bluetooth connections quite well - and these are headphones that have the option to use simultaneous connections (as far as I can tell) very limited. The Cyclone is a sports and outdoor device and is much more likely to have multiple devices connected to it, but it won't connect to more than one device at a time and doesn't handle it well. The notification tone (with voice notifications disabled) on the cyclone is also an annoying dial tone/busy tone and not the beep, emitted by other devices of this brand.
