This is a great buy for a toddler toy. Came in a well designed box so as not to damage. I really appreciate that it comes with batteries so little ones don't have to wait. It has a pull tab so you know they're new and you're good to go! I also like that there are 2 different sound settings as some toys are that loud. This has a nice flat area for the sound to come from should you want to record it to make it even quieter, although I didn't have to do that with this toy. My almost 2 year old girl loved it as soon as we opened it. She sat and played with him for over an hour and has continued to pick him up and spend a lot of time with him ever since. It has 4 settings: numbers, colors, music (keyboard + songs) and an asterisk - questions that need to be answered. My daughter probably won't quite get this part yet, but it means this toy won't be out of date for us in a few months. Colors are bright and accurate, and most settings have multiple layers for each mushroom button. He will even ask if anyone is there after not being touched for a minute and then again to keep your little ones interested. It is very light so my daughter can easily carry it around the house. The on/off switch isn't on top so my daughter doesn't keep turning it on and off which is nice. To get it to play songs, you tilt it, which took me a minute to figure out, but it tells you directions. Overall I'd say it's a good toy that might last a few years, which is always great. I'm glad I got it!
