The ball joints are fine, but their installation is not very interesting.

I installed these ball joints on a '97 Ranger. To get them to seat properly I had to make a custom 2.5" bushing in an iron bushing, I cut it to .750" and slipped it over the bottom of the ball joint to create the proper clearance. I didn't have the materials on hand so it definitely wasn't much fun.
