Banana slicers have a weird reputation as you may have read in the reviews of most of them. I'm here to share my honest thoughts on this with you. Last year I started getting dehydrated like crazy. I just moved in and found that I have two fruiting peach trees. This put me on the path to dehydration. With that background aside, let's get to the review! I probably dehydrated over 60 gift bananas this Christmas. I started with a knife, trying to get even slices. Then I found that an egg slicer works best. The slices are of good size and uniform. Big difficult to use but not terrible. I needed something better. Because I fucking love banana chips. Got this thing today and it's amazing! The slices are just the right size for drying. It's insanely easy to use and FAST. I've cut my time with it by more than half. Not to mention that it's so easy to clean. I wash between bananas to get the best slice. Lasts a few seconds. I made 10 banana peels in about 30 minutes or less (I watched TV too). So for those who are looking for a better way. That's it!
