The stick side of the disc wears out long before the abrasive side wears out. You end up with a disc that still has a usable grit but cannot be used because it will fly off the grinder. I only had about 15 minutes of grinding before the disc came off the grinder. After reattaching it worked for about 30 seconds before flying off again. This has happened to all of these discs I've used. My grinder is new and works well with other brands of discs with no detachment issues.
