Easy and Relaxing5 Stars I chose this watercolor set because I love to paint, but I don't have much experience with watercolors and I rarely know what I am should paint. It's kind of a combination of puzzle and drawing because you have to look at the numbered picture to see what to color and what color. Because it's paint, with a mixed color you want to paint over some areas that need to be done in that color for efficiency, so you don't keep changing colors. I found a good balance between finding other areas to draw with the current color and switching to a different color, even though there might be something else in the current color. It helps to have two containers of water - I've used disposable styrofoam cups I had at home, but sometimes I use old washed yogurt containers or something. The first container of water is used for cleaning, adding water to the paints to make them runny and mixing. The second water tank is used to clean the brush between coats of paint. Once "clean" water becomes too dirty, it can become "dirty" and you pour clean water into another. I also keep some paper towels on hand to wipe over wet spots for a quick and easy clean up. It also helps erase the mistakes a bit by pressing the paper towel over the wrong color area and it will pick up most of it if you do this before it dries (add some water to thin it out if needed) . The set includes a pre-stretched canvas, a brush, an array of paints (there were plenty of them to complete the painting and more), a brush and a chart showing which colors go where and which colors are mixed to make to manufacture them any color. I found the brush to work great, but if you have your own that you prefer, go ahead and use what suits you. The colors are typical watercolor discs in attractive colors. It only contains the colors you need to paint, but it's a good palette. I liked to draw. I found it relaxing and fun. I painted over several sessions because it takes time. I think it can be fun to make with friends or family or for a craft party. It would be great to have on hand in case of rain. There isn't much cleaning and it's not very dirty.
