This SW7A switch is perfect to replace the power switch on my old Ryobi WDP1850 drill press. It sticks out about 1/8 inch less than the original (no problem here), the locking cap is yellow instead of the original red (no problem), and has a SPDT layout (two separate but connected switches) instead of the original SPST switch better than the original. I can plug one of the SPST switches into my original plug-in connectors, leave the second SPST switch unused, wait for the day when the first switch fails like the original, and move the terminals to the second working connector. (I should add that the problem with the switch's original failure was that one of the tabs on the plug, which was attached to the switch body with a rivet, failed when the rivet tired and pulled out (see image). The internal Mechanism of the switch was It was a plug that came loose and broke after about 20 years of use.)
