I've only been crocheting for a few months and have used about a dozen yarns of varying quality from different suppliers. But I've never had such coarse yarn. I can't imagine using it for anything other than kitchen towels, oven mitts, rugs or wastebaskets. It's definitely not suitable for anything you might want to wear, and not even a blanket or throw. Also, he's extremely annoying to work with. I decided to save it for my "New Crochet" tests because it is so rough and durable that it should hold up well and provide a solid foundation for learning new stitches. However, I can't help but wish the yarn came with a warning so at least newbies like me know what they're getting.
