The worst thing about this stool is the ambiguity of the instructions and Q&A on the product page! DO NOT remove the orange plastic cap! I've seen people say to delete it and only one person recently said not to delete it. I spent half an hour trying to figure it out like everyone else. The large black plastic cup at the end of the bar slides off fairly easily and is meant to be removed and has an arrow sticker to remove it. However, the instructions give the impression that you have to remove the orange plastic plug underneath this bowl, which is not the case. Although mine was completely broken from trying to get it out, the stool still works well. It doesn't roll that well on tile floors, but serves as a dressing table.
