My daughter uses them for skating, scootering and cycling. The quality is good and supposedly comfortable. They've been used a lot over the past few weeks and have done their job well so far. Moderate scratches but nothing serious. The Velcro still holds and the straps are strong. I think it's just as good as for kids gear. Hence five stars from me who is really picky when it comes to protective gear. Don't forget to buy the right helmet too! ;)
