Review on Dorman 578 022 Fuel Tank Straps by Brian Thuo

These tank straps didn't come with metal pins to attach to the car frame. The old tank straps I removed were so rusty I couldn't reuse the pins. I ended up making my own from a steel rod from a local hardware store. As much as I paid for these tank straps, they should have come with everything to install. Also, the head of the screw that holds the pin is too high and puts pressure on the tank. Hopefully it doesn't make a hole in the tank when it's pushed against it. Bad design if you ask me.
