Only buy if you no longer want to keep the car or if you like buying things twice.

Bought a kit in October 2018 for my 2003 4 runner. Installed it myself in Spring 2019. Less than 20,000 miles, both sides are cracked and leaking worse than the ones they replaced. I chose them based on permanent codes P0420 and P0430. When I removed the bearing blocks I found that the seals were leaking and that was most likely the cause of the codes. I installed new manifolds. It seemed like the best option back then, direct replacement bolts for $200 each. I realized the stock cats were gone after 250,000 miles. After about a year I noticed exhaust leaks near the engine. I thought the manifolds were deformed as mentioned in some other reviews. I ordered new gaskets for Toyota and finally got around to replacing them this weekend. I pulled the driver's side first as that's the hardest part. The seal is really broken. I checked the collector and found that it is deformed. I spent an hour on the belt sander to level it. I was ready to reinstall and gave it again. That's when I discovered that 2 of the welds on the back were cracked and the cracks were migrating into the main pipe. I quickly removed the aisle side and found it just as bad. I dug the originals out of a pile of junk, bled them, and reinstalled them with factory seals like I should have done from the start.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • don't remember but there was something
