not bad though. in spare parts

I had to bend the flange because it wasn't quite flat. Looks more massive than OEM. Hope it lasts long enough because it took me 6 hours to replace this thing.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Poor quality of catalytic converters and parts

Installed 750051 and 750050 on my 2004 Lexus GX470. I put a ruler on the mating surface and found that it wasn't the case. Shortly to the car service and everything is fine. Installed a manifold only to have three of the four cylinders leaking around the welds. Revain was fantastic and sent a replacement asap. The muffler shop tested the new replacement manifold before installing it. Holes were found in the welds. I don't know who is responsible for quality control at Pacesetter Performanceโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some issues

NO BEAUTY! on exhaust and emissions

Looks like they just sent me a header they bought on ebay and welded up with the stamped number plate 750051. It was smooth or stainless steel (can't tell)! Where is my paint like in the picture? The end face of the seal has not been ground smooth. The overall quality of the weld is certainly equivalent to high-speed welding. Looking inside you can see that the cut outs in the main header pipe are not fully open to the exhaust ports and as it is only welded on the outside the exhaust getsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • No power

Better than OEM at 1/3 the price

My 2004 Toyota 4Runner V8 had a bad driver side exhaust manifold leak. Toyota charges $700 for each OEM distributor that is obviously of poor quality. I found these Pacesetter replacement parts for 1/3 the price of the originals and decided to give it a try. This header was installed by the dealer today and it fits like a glove. The box had a gasket and flange bolts, but I still needed new motor bolts and a flange gasket. This header proved to be better quality than the OEM, with thickerโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Negative Present

I had to chase the threads for the heat shield. I also noticed that I had exhaust leaks at the ends of the headers after installation. I've tightened everything and even tried tightening the bolts beyond the torque specifications and over tightening the bolts several times. I could see that the mounting flange wasn't very flat. Comes with a standard destructible seal which was a nice touch. I could feel the gasket folding, so I had leaks at each end. Who knows. Supplied without a heat shieldโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Quality of workmanship
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Bought a kit in October 2018 for my 2003 4 runner. Installed it myself in Spring 2019. Less than 20,000 miles, both sides are cracked and leaking worse than the ones they replaced. I chose them based on permanent codes P0420 and P0430. When I removed the bearing blocks I found that the seals were leaking and that was most likely the cause of the codes. I installed new manifolds. It seemed like the best option back then, direct replacement bolts for $200 each. I realized the stock cats were gone

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • don't remember but there was something
