Review on πŸ”₯ Pacesetter 750051 Direct-Fit Manifold with Catalytic Converter: Optimal Exhaust Performance and Easy Installation by Joseph Reed

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The carving on the windshield had to be chased. Exhaust leaks at the ends after installation

I had to chase the threads for the heat shield. I also noticed that I had exhaust leaks at the ends of the headers after installation. I've tightened everything and even tried tightening the bolts beyond the torque specifications and over tightening the bolts several times. I could see that the mounting flange wasn't very flat. Comes with a standard destructible seal which was a nice touch. I could feel the gasket folding, so I had leaks at each end. Who knows. Supplied without a heat shield around the catalytic converter and there are no brackets to relocate the stock heat shield. There are transmission oil lines that run where the CAT sits. I need to make sure I don't prepare my trans liquid. The price was reasonable and I was glad to see the seal. Just not happy with the results. Either way. It is what it is.
