It's useless. I threw it out today.
The heart rate monitor must display the heart rate. This thing displays it for about 30 seconds, then it disappears and all you see is a dash on the dial, although it's still connected and counting. If you click a few buttons, you'll see your bet again, then it'll disappear again. I put in a new battery, assuming it might be dead since it didn't have a connector latch, but that didn't help. It's garbage. Don't waste your time.
