Bought this unit hoping to boost the Wi-Fi signal from the camera on the back of the 10 meter RV to the tablet mounted on the RV dash. This antenna did not amplify the signal in any way. Nothing. Nada. Remember that I mounted the antenna about halfway up the RV's roof to position it as close as possible to the front of the RV where the receiving screen was located on the dash. This means that this antenna was installed about 18 feet from the source I needed the camera to communicate with. 18 lousy feet. The camera's standard small antenna provided the best signal strength over the entire 35- to 38-foot range. I bought this antenna with the camera because I was afraid that the small standard camera antenna would not be enough. Luckily it is. I do not believe that this antenna corresponds to the description. Buyer Warning.
