Do you see the small umbrella in the pictures? The one that fits in your hand? Mine arrived in a huge box and I wondered why. When I opened it, the umbrella was unpacked - just placed in a clear plastic bag - and it was already cocked, not compact. Why? Why ship this way? I found out. It was impossible to make an umbrella compact. I've tried several times, trying to press the button on the handle, but to no avail. The stem was also twisted/bent which could be part of the problem. I decided to try opening the umbrella to see if that would help, but it wouldn't stay open. There was no click! or a snapping sensation no matter how hard I squeezed it and when I let go it closed completely. It was completely defective and (I suspect) already used and sent back as it didn't come with the box. Do not go.
