Review on πŸ”Œ 100ft High-Performance Wilson Electronics WILSON-400 Low-Loss Coax Cable in Black (N-Male to N-Male) by Angie Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice line as expected

I've never used the LMR-400 so can't compare, but it's easy to use and is similar to other RG-8 types I've used (but with better ones Characteristics). I messed up one of the N connectors and had to replace it. I used PL-259 and it fits perfectly. It's easy enough to remove and work with the shield. It now powers a cell phone antenna/amplifier and maintains a frequency close to 2GHz without the horrendous line loss you get with a smaller cable. High frequencies (400MHz and up) and long distances especially call for good coax, and if you don't have one, you're putting most of your signal on the coax. Mobile phones use the frequencies 700 MHz and 1900 MHz.

Pros
  • Digital coax cables
Cons
  • Weak set
