I'm sure he's healthy, but it doesn't help if he's broken

We found an orphaned squirrel. A few weeks later we were offered to buy rodent blocks for him so we went with it as it is quite natural and we wanted his indoor diet to be as natural as it will be when we release him. He will literally eat anything but that. Groups of squirrels told me not to give him anything until he gets used to the taste, but he just hates them. There's no going back either, so that's it.
