We found an orphaned squirrel. A few weeks later we were offered to buy rodent blocks for him so we went with it as it is quite natural and we wanted his indoor diet to be as natural as it will be when we release him. I was a little worried by all the reviews that squirrels are not interesting, but the child who lives in our garden just loves them! He prefers to eat them even earlier than the walnuts we offer. I am giving it three stars because I have no reason to doubt that it can be healthy food for squirrels and other rodents. However, this only helps if they eat it. I feed squirrels on my second floor fire escape in a sort of bird feeder but the squirrels took over and I enjoyed them too. But they won't eat that crap. I haven't seen a single squirrel eat any of these. They came closest to picking up some of them to make a way for the food that was beneath him. So they throw some of it out of the…
