Review on Set of 8 Christmas Tree Candle Lights – Remote Controlled, Battery Operated, Adjustable Green Clips, Flickering LED Flameless Tapers with Timer by Brittney Weaver

These Christmas tree candles are very easy to install and use; They come with AA batteries, eight plastic candles and a remote control. Each candle requires one AA battery. To install, simply insert the battery into the base of the candle, then unscrew the green snap-on base. This lower area is a little fragile, so you'll have to rotate it carefully. While mine never broke during installation, the bottom portion popped off the threads a couple of times, resulting in the spark plug not firing when the "ON" button on the remote was pressed. Once you turn the base properly, the candle will light up instantly and can only be turned off with the remote control or removing the battery. Candles attach to a branch and can then be adjusted as the base rotates on a plastic ball joint. The design is very convenient as you can give the impression that it is a real "vintage" candle set. When it's on, you have the option to 'flicker' or stay 'continuous' like a candle, all with the touch of a button on a remote control. I found that you have to be very close to the candles to activate them with the remote as it doesn't have a very good range. You can also set a timer with the remote control by programming the lights to turn off automatically after 4 or 8 hours. The remote control comes with a battery that works after removing the protective plastic cover. I personally love this candle set for my vintage Christmas tree. The lights are bright and sparkle beautifully. The clips are easy to use and the overall look of the candles is high quality. Even the candle's "flame" is made of thick, patterned glass to emit a light similar to a real flame. My only concern is that the remote control doesn't have a very long range and the connecting parts are a bit fragile. All in all a great set that I can definitely recommend.
