Looks just like I thought it would. It can actually work with a much bigger and heavier cable than a Gen 3 wall jack cable as the bracket is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Also the pen holder in the middle of the device is just what I needed as the spot where I installed the charger was very narrow on the sides and I couldn't wrap the cable around it. But with this device, which has a much larger capacity, I placed it just a few feet from the wall charger and it works great. I also like the fact that the mount is installed first and the cable holder just slides down the mount making installation much easier.
