This is my first Asrock product and the color "impressed me". The BIOS is so easy to navigate and use, the mouse moves smoothly through all the tabs/screens, just superb. I was worried it would be problematic when paired with a Ryzen 5 3600 (because it's a B450 mb), no easypezy got into the bios straight away and was able to format nvme as a bootdisk.etcetc etc. It's nice, USB C on a budget motherboard, and there are 5 USB 3.x ports too! Excellent value for money for a very durable and reliable mb. In fact this is my 12 year old's first build and he was able to do it all himself (we recycled some old parts from one of my previous builds) and I was only there for observation/advice. . You can take this as a usability/configuration indicator. We had to set the Corsair Vengeance 3200 c16 RAM to 3000MHz as it was stuck at 3200MHz (with XMP). Don't worry the build is very stable and the system will reboot and you can tweak it in the bios. here's what he put together: ryzen 3600 cpu with cooler included (new) asrock b450 steel legend mb (new) sapphire pulse rx5700xt gpu (new) corsair vengeance 3200c16 ram (old) antec 300 case (old) corsair cx600m ps (old ) Samsung sm951 256GB NVME (boot) (old) Crucial mx100 500GB SSD (apps) (old) Seagate Barracuda 2TB HD (storage) (new) msi 27" 1080p 120Hz monitor (old) Windows 10 it will not doing anything complicated: Minecraft, Overwatch, video conferencing (camera 1080p/60hz), drawing tablet, online learning, video editing, etc., so there will be no overclocking or stress testing his system. GHz So far so good, no stuttering, lags and BSODs , all temps are well under tolerance and fans barely hit 900rpm under load We uploaded bios 2.30, latest radeon drivers, windows updates, that's it Asrock, well done: amazingly affordable, reliable and stable motherboard , amazing bios, and simple instr instructions n and easy to follow (all those little headlines for the occasion. read the instructions, everything will become clear). My only "against". Not enough fan headers per MB. After 1 year. I was a fanboy now I'm pissed After replacing all the components I narrowed the list down to the motherboard. Directly connected microphones or even USB microphones pick up a large amount of "clicks" that are recorded on audio tracks. This MB is crap for working with audio of any kind; even simple recordings make "clicks”. You get what you pay for. A cheap MB emits electrons all over the place, and the feedback is in the audio recording.
