Temporary work for TV and video

(1.) Purchased mainly for the UHD Format function along with All Regions. The connection is easy. Connect the power cord to a power outlet and the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on my LG UHD TV. I have nothing else to do. The "No Signal" message was all I could get. The device was returned and a replacement sent. The second block gave a signal and worked for a while. After a few weeks of use, the signal disappeared mid-movie. Opening the disc tray and reinserting the disc seemed to restore the signal connection. But what a hassle when trying to move your seat at the cinema! The situation kept getting worse. (2.) Another noted disadvantage is that the disc tray often does not respond to the remote boot button and must be opened manually. (3.) Assuming the device works correctly as intended, there is no "mute" button on the remote control. Why is this simple convenience missing from such a complex product? After putting up with these annoyances for about three months, I went back to my old Sony device, which worked flawlessly for many years (only the UHD format was missing). UHD isn't really a big improvement to be without. Stable performance. Bad buy!
