The right belt for its price range. Better quality than expected. Easily adjustable over a wide range of inches from the maximum size listed. When in doubt, order a larger size as the size is not adjustable by more than an inch or so. Measure at the widest part of the stomach where the top of the kilt sits above the sea bones, not at the widest part of the hip bones when wearing a kilt. The buckle as shown has a smooth, polished rectangular area in the center for any engraving or monogram desired. The belt is genuine leather and durable, but possibly laminated leather, has stitching on the top and bottom edges so will likely last a long time if not abused. I don't know yet if the new leather color will fade when wet so test the area with a cotton swab before putting on an expensive or light colored kilt if someone is going to be playing the Highland games or even putting one on a rainy day.
