I replaced a Warn Model MRV-B-7 motor from a 30 year old M8000 winch. The bike frame was 6 inches long instead of 5 inches, so some with a pocket in the bumper might be affected. The long bolts going through the cover, through the motor and to the winch frame were the correct length, but long enough to accommodate the relay box bracket and the shape of the cover didn't match. So I have to install it differently. They were connected the same way and worked (no load). They will last longer if you add joint lube (antioxidant sealant) to the joints and nuts. Otherwise they will get hot and even weld like the joint is lost.
