I love these sponges. The shape (pointed edges) makes cleaning the inside of the reservoir lids easier. They are quite soft but hold up well. I was a bit confused as to whether the side of the scrubber really wasn't scratching, so I tried it out in a pan first, which I didn't really care to see how abrasive it was, and to my surprise it didn't seem to be scratching the surface. coating on the pan.
