Heat gun for amateurs but not for serious work

Let's hope that the BATAVIA heat gun can solve these problems related to heat and humidity. What I love about this hair dryer is that it comes with accessories, one of which directs the hot air in a circular motion. It also has three temperature settings. It's too hot and the shrink caps will melt before I can move the heat gun away from the shrink cap. The rotary knob is a feature that also works well. This allows me to place the heat gun on the edge of the counter without holding it. But in practice it didn't go as I had hoped. The low temperature was too low, I was just warm on my arm. Switching to a medium temperature reduced caps but resulted in wrinkles. The heat did the trick, but I had to quickly move the heat gun over the lid. Whenever I held it in one spot for too long, the capsule melted. I think getting the fix right is inevitable, but it will take more practice. The fan on this hair dryer isn't that powerful, so if you're using it to remove wallpaper, you'll need to hold the gun close enough to the wall for it to do its job. I concluded that this is a hobbyist's heat gun that has versatility thanks to its two-position grip, but doesn't have the amount of hot air required for serious work.
