I bought this product for an unfinished wood island in my kitchen. It was easy to apply and protects my wood very well. The wax quickly penetrates deep into the cracks in the wood and any liquid that gets on it collects in droplets. The top is very easy to keep clean. When purchasing this product, be sure to purchase flaxseed oil without beeswax. You will need it for care and treatment. After the first application of beeswax, the wax will not absorb it for some time, if at all. I am very happy with this purchase.
