Great product but sometimes wire is needed
This is a great idea but when you ride in the rain your tires will spray water which will fill the end cap. I coated the seal with silicone, let it dry and then put the cap on. The problem is mostly solved. The latch broke 6 years after purchase. I noticed this after getting off the interstate. The barley fell on the cap. Luckily I had a hanger with me and set off again.
