Review on 🏕️ Upgraded Carefree 901015 Black RV Awning Replacement Lift Handle for Hassle-free Travel by Freddy Hammonds

I have ordered 2 of these handles for the Carefree of Colorado Spirit awning. These were the only ones remotely similar to the originals. Both pens arrived in the same postal envelope, one box of pens was broken and the rivet was missing. I have a friend at the dealer who got me a new rivet, so the installation began. As others have said the handles had to be filed to fit properly in the existing rectangular hole. This was quickly achieved with a pneumatic straight grinder. Again, as others have said, I had to drill another hole for the indexing handle to lock when the awning is in the closed (to be moved) position. Overall the buttons worked and were easy to install as I'm used to replacing items that don't always fit properly even though they're immediately advertised as 'plug and play'!
