Works well. Even when using the NMS Suite installed on the access point in combination with wireless communication. I haven't noticed any performance issues and the range is amazing. Edit: Having run Hotspot for over 6 months there are definitely things that make me wish I had chosen a different product. It still works reliably for real connected devices. The built-in NMS package doesn't work as well as I had hoped. I have a second hotspot that does this and periodically disconnects from the control screen when I check it. The second access point still retains its settings, so this isn't a problem you'll notice if you don't log into the built-in NMS. The firmware has been updated a bit recently, but updates from Edimax are coming very slowly. And updates add very little functionality to the actual product. I don't know yet what I'm going to do with this product. It still works well and is very economical for my setup, but given the opportunity I would definitely consider a different product group for my next AP array.
